Claude D'Aspermont, codename Sai is a recurring supporting character of the series. Sai was one of the five first rosters in Akatsuki Prototyp 1. He is a secret agent for MI6, and as a temporarily holder and informant for Xinhua Computers, as well as happens to be a Colonel-ranked World War II veteran due to his ill history with Akatsuki's former ally, Murakumo. Kati and her parents are his main associates.
Appearance[]
Sai has a longer hair and mostly wore black outer business suit, and both red necktie and sunglasses. True by his mythical evil eyes, his eye color and shapes are sharp demonic looking yellow, and sclera will change black whether the eyes' true power is activated.
His hair and inner business suit between the first two games changes from black and dark grey respectively, then progressively toned to blue on both. His shoes was brown in Akatsuki-related titles, until it was toned to blue in EN-Eins Perfektewelt (Anastasis).
Personality[]
Sai is very intelligent and a gentleman, as well as a very good businessman who can successfully carry out his job. Sai has a good sense of humor and a comedic side, especially when it comes to humiliating Murakumo. He also has a hard time keeping Kati from hurting herself in dangerous situations. As a client to Kati's parents, he genuinely cared for her and was referred to as her uncle figure. In particular, being called Mr. Long Legs caused him great annoyance.

- During the War
Though Claude's on how he has a Mystical Evil Eyes that makes him immortal and youthful is unknown, but sometime after becoming an agent of British Secret Service MI6, he and Akatsuki Zero had been on a fight since World War II, in which Sai often keeps winning against him and even annoys him in humiliation, even after the latter betrayed Akatsuki after his former subordinate became the first Blitzsoldier since Gesellschaft's foundation.

For 50 years since Akatsuki's presumed death, and Gesellschaft turned into a secret military base that had been taking over the world, and using other organizations as covers, such as Black Hand, G.S.O.D., and Xinhua Computers, Claude is sent to infiltrate the latter's Hong Kong branch, earning a Hong Konger codename, "Sai", while also gains an aid from the Holy Club, a long-time enemy of Gesellschaft's progenitor, Perfecti Cult. He learns that Akatsuki Zero now goes by the name "Murakumo" and Ernst von Adler begin to abuse Fritz's old genetic researches that lead him to quit the organization and goes into hiding. During a trip to Xinhua Computers Center at mainland China, Shanghai, he befriend with a German family who are in charge of the said East Asian country's trading company, Kati and her parents. Sai had been Kati's uncle figure for years. At some point after Kati grow up as a teenager, Sai noticed Kati's sudden personality. When Kati suddenly went missing several days later, Sai begin to search for her whereabout while investigating any organizations compromised by Gesellschaft may have a lead to find her current location.
Akatsuki Prototyp Nr. 1/Blitzkampf (Ausf. Achse)[]
With a mission success rate of 100% he gained much fame in the business circles, the agent of the Xinhua Computer Company: Sai. This man takes on anything from industrial espionage to murder. His job this time is a highly classified weapon lost in the previous Great War held by Akatsuki, a technical officer of the former Imperial Army. He is to track him down and take back the motor...
After being defeated by Akatsuki, he lets him go and inform him to acquire an aid from a Holy Club, where its nun agent Anonym Merel Lambuth is deployed to find Gesellschaft's whereabout. Akatsuki and Merel had a brief fight until they stand down after learning both sharing a same mission to destroy Gesellschaft and Perfecti Cult. Thanks to a tip which Fritz gave to Akatsuki, the trio begin their assaults at Gesellschaft's current main base at Tibet, while gaining unexpected aids from Kanae, Marilyn and Wei, who had been following them on their respective accords. Sai went to the other side of the room within the base where he found the a magical weapon that similar to his power, the Wand of Evil Eye - Morgenstern, while Anonym Merel fought and defeated Mycale, who had been possessing Kati's body. Though Kati is saved at the same time Akatsuki, Kanae, Marilyn and Wei defeated Murakumo, Sai is unable to find Anonym Merel's whereabout (unbeknownst that Mycale possess her instead and escape with Merel's body) and prioritize an escape from Gesellschaft's base.
After the destruction of Gesellschaft, Sai remains babysitting unconscious Kati at the hinterland of Tibet until she wakes up and fully recovered. Once Kati wakes up, Sai gave her Morgenstern for her own protection, after teaching her how to control its power under her command. After Sai advised her to return to her parents, he return to the MI6 base where he is congratulated for the successful missions against Gesellschaft.

EN-Eins Perfektewelt (Anastasis)[]
In the year 20XX AD, in the Tibetan Tsangpo Canyon, there wad a large-scale cave-in incident. It was several months later that a secret society, the New Orders of Knights Templar, began a worldwide invasion. Pressed to respond the British Secret Service surreptitiously dispatched a spy.
However, when he found out Kati ignored his advice, and went a journey on her own in a middle of invasion instead, Sai has to deal with protecting her from danger as well.

Trivia[]
- Sai holds a record of having his default color palette change twice after the first two games.
- Sai and Mycale are one of the two characters to have further updated Win/Pre-battle arcade dialogue/former character select/former Vs. artwork in Ausf. Achse.
- As it turns out, the default palette in original Blitzkampf did not match his character CG prologue and epilogue, which is why in its Ausf. Achse update fixes it along with adding his full body character artwork.
- Sai shares a same Japanese voice actor as Fritz.
