The ancient kingdoms of Agartha (アガルタ, Agaruta) and Neuland (ノイラントへ, Noiranto, Neurant) are legendary locations that are said to be located in the Earth's core since ancient times. These locations are main viewpoints of the Akatsuki EN-Eins storyline. They are related to the belief in a hollow Earth and is a popular subject in esotericism, which supposed to hold immense wisdom and wealth. Agartha is located at subterranean depths of the Himalayas, Tibet, while Neuland is located at Antarctica. The kingdoms also the power source where Blitz Motor technology being created and mass produced, one of which founded beneath them.

According to the research, it is said that Agarthans and Neulanders to have a potential to draw upon powers like electrokinesis and psychokinesis. They also possess ancient technology that lets them both harness and control electricity, such as the Blitz Motor. It is stated by Mycale that the Ancient Gods there have created the perfect Blitz Motors, that grants infinite electric power without draining the user's life force.
Only the titular protagonists who inherit the bloodline of the ancient races: Akatsuki is implied to be a descendent of the Agarthan race, and EN-Eins is a clone of a Neulander god.
